How much does a brake job cost?
Brake prices depend on your vehicle, which axle, and whether you need pads only or pads and rotors. Send your year, make and model for a quote. Not sure it’s the brakes? Start with a CA$70 mobile diagnostic.
Most pad, rotor and caliper jobs are done right at your location with my jacks, stands and tools. I need a flat, safe spot to lift the car. Street parking, a driveway or a parking lot usually works.
When a shop is the better option
Seized brake lines or major rust damage can turn a brake job into a bigger repair. If a line or part can’t be done safely on site, I tell you before going further.

FAQ
Questions about brake repair
How long does a brake job take?
A typical pad and rotor job on one axle takes about an hour or two on site, depending on the vehicle and condition.
Do you replace rotors every time?
No. I measure and inspect them. If they are within spec and in good shape, pads alone may be enough.
Can you do brakes in my parking lot?
Usually yes, as long as there is a flat, safe spot and the lot allows it.
Service area
We come to you in Montreal and surrounding areas, including Laval, Longueuil, Lachine, Saint-Laurent, Châteauguay and parts of the South Shore, depending on the job.
