How mobile service works
What does a mobile mechanic do?
A mobile mechanic brings the tools and equipment to your car and does the diagnosis and repair where it’s parked, instead of you bringing the car to a shop. Auto Service Alimotorsforall is 100% mobile.
Do you come to my home?
Yes. I come to homes, workplaces, parking lots and roadside locations where the car can be worked on safely.
Can you work at my workplace or in a parking lot?
Yes, if the lot allows it and there is space around the car. Outdoor lots are easier than underground garages.
Do I need to be there?
It helps, especially for the diagnosis. If you can’t be there, tell me when you book and I’ll plan it. Either way, I call you with the findings before any repair.
How quickly can you come?
It depends on my schedule, the job and your location. Call or text and I’ll give you a realistic time.
Prices and quotes
How much does a mobile diagnostic cost?
CA$70. It covers the scan, testing and an explanation of what’s wrong. Repairs are quoted separately.
How do I request a quote?
Call or text 438-341-2619, or use the quote form. Give me the year, make, model, the problem and where the car is.
Can I send photos of the problem?
Yes. Text photos of the warning light, leak, noise area or damage to 438-341-2619. It helps me bring the right parts.
Will you do work without asking?
No. You approve the quote before any repair, and I ask before any extra work.
Services and vehicles
Can you diagnose a check-engine light?
Yes. I read the codes, test the system they point to and explain the real cause.
Can you replace brakes at my location?
Yes. Pads, rotors and calipers are replaced on site on most vehicles.
Can you replace a wheel bearing?
Yes, on most vehicles with bolt-in hub assemblies. Press-in bearings sometimes need a shop press.
Do you replace batteries, starters and alternators?
Yes, on site on most vehicles, after testing to confirm which part is at fault.
Do you work on SUVs, pickups and vans?
Yes. My jobs include sedans, SUVs, pickups and work vans, like the Ram, Ford Transit and Ford E-Series on this site.
Do you work on ATVs?
Yes: hubs and bearings, brakes, tires, batteries, basic suspension and other repairs depending on the machine.
Can you inspect a used car before I buy it?
Yes. I meet you at the seller’s location and inspect it before you pay.
What repairs need a shop?
Alignments, major internal engine or transmission work and jobs that need a lift or a press. I tell you honestly when that’s the case.
Emergencies and areas
Do you offer emergency roadside service?
Yes. Emergency roadside service — availability depends on time & location. I’m not a 24/7 service.
Do I need a tow?
Often not: batteries, starters, alternators and flats can usually be handled where the car is. Call first and describe the problem.
What areas do you serve?
Montreal and surrounding areas, including Laval, Longueuil, the South Shore, Lachine, Saint-Laurent and Châteauguay.
Do you have a garage I can visit?
No. I’m fully mobile and come to you.
